Stay Slim Tips
- Your "Keep-it" Gi Plan is your new way of life. You may lapse occasionally, that's fine. Just acknowledge it and start again.
- If you put on a pound or two you can always take it off again, don't punish yourself. Just get back on track.
- Find ways to make your work routine and your family support you. You are going to stay slim and healthy.
- Before you reach for the cookie jar, ask yourself if it's going to take you nearer to the 'new' you and if it isn't walk to the fruit bowl!
- Stay fit with family and friends. It's much more fun to go cycling or swimming or play sport with other people.
- Keep a daily food and mood diary (sample in the book) so you can see when you indulge and what your emotions are up to at that time, e.g. boredom, stress, comfort, security, PMT.
- Now you have reached your target what are you going to do next? Why not learn a new sport, or take up a new hobby? Better still, take up a new interest as you start your goal so that your mind has something to occupy itself!
- Treat yourself to some new clothes Turn out your wardrobe and donate your over-sized clothes to charity. If you make an effort to look good, you'll want to stay slim.
